Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.

Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10. Babies in strollers or carriers will not be permitted to enter.

Please Note:
All formal or informal educational groups from all educational frameworks and programs must book their activities through the International School for Holocaust Studies. This includes booking a tour of the Holocaust History Museum at Yad Vashem. This applies to all groups from Israel or abroad.

Educational groups include:

  • All middle/high school students, youth leaders, overseas post high school young adults and post high school young leaders who are participating in an educational program
  • All teachers, educators, staff from educational frameworks, staff from the Ministry of Education, museum docents, teachers-in-training from an educational institution, student teachers, leaders and opinion makers from formal and informal frameworks who are taking part in an educational program – regardless if the group is from Israel or abroad.
  • All groups from the Israeli Army and Security Forces.
